Position Summary

We are seeking a Broker Support Agent / Administrative Associate to provide operational and customer service support to our team of licensed insurance brokers.
This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and service support to assigned producers and brokers.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers, brokers, and insurance company underwriters.
  • Handle client inquiries, policy changes, renewals, and endorsements with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Ensure all transactions, documentation, and correspondence are processed in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Manage customer files using our Broker Management System (BMS).
  • Communicate efficiently via phone, email, and insurance portals.
  • Liaise with underwriters and insurers to resolve policy or rating issues.
  • Support sales activities by preparing quotes and proposals as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company and RIBO standards.
  • Assist with portal changes, renewals, reissues, and cancellations.
  • Perform other administrative and customer service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education (preferred).
  • Prior administrative, customer service, or insurance experience an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
